The people have spoken, and T. Rex will battle Jethro Tull in the July Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame finals. The winner will become the fourth entrant into our hallowed (and 100% fan-voted

establishment.

Each month, our readers will determine which of eight legendary artists or bands is immortalized forever for their contributions to classic-rock history. T. Rex edged out Creedence Clearwater Revival in one of the closest battles in UCR Hall of Fame history in round one, then squeaked by Alice Cooper in the semifinals to arrive here. Jethro Tull earned their spot by defeating the Allman Brothers Band and then Neil Young.

So who will win this final election? You can vote for whoever you’d like once a day from now until 11:59PM ET on July 31. You can read the Hall of Fame’s official rules right here. Be sure to mark your calendars for Aug. 1, when the fourth entrant into the Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame is revealed.

Martin Barre:
New album will be released on Edifying records/RSK at the end of September 2013.
The title is "Away with Words" and features original music by Martin Barre and 
music from Jethro Tull including ,Requiem, From a Deadbeat to an Old Greaser, Moths, Home,
Fire at Midnight and many others.
